It’s a short song but I love it, except I am singing Helen’s going out. Cory, Sam and I are heading out for a jaunt in the valley tonight whilst Sean will be rocking it up with Prawnstars at the Vic. A fun night for all is assured.

Won’t be having to many drinks tonight, due to the not so funness of having a cold.
The last saturday before the mid-semester break ends on Tuesday.

I recieved a carton of Cadbury Easter Eggs from Sean’s parents however it was only after eating most of them that I decided to take some photos, for the effect I wanted though, I simply did not have enough eggs. Luckily for me though the shops still had plenty of eggs leftover and now at half price:) So today before work I bought two more cartons of eggs, so I can take the photos I want to take tommorow when I have some light about. I am so tempted to reach over and eat one or two now but I know if I eat them, I will have less to photograph tommorow so must leave them alone. :(:( Coming tommorow, 30 easter eggs, two cameras, two tripods, one light, one reflector and one photographer 🙂

How was your Easter long weekend?

The painting is finished, all that is left now is for the installation of new wardrobe doors and painting a shelf to match the wall. The increase in light in the room is just amazing.

Whilst the yellow was by no means dark in fact it was quite bright, the light that the white reflects is just amazing, there is less shadows, just so much more light.

In addition to the extra light, the white is just so clean and crisp, the walls and ceiling look fresh.

Big, big, big thanks to Sean for helping me out over the four days and providing his tradie knowledge in repairing holes and cracks in my room, also to my dear mother for providing the paint, to my younger brother and father for helping when needed and staying out the way when not needed.

For a couple of months now I have planned the re-painting of my room. Changing it from the current Banana Yellow to a white, mainly to reflect light to my natural light starved room as well as too reduce the colour casts I get in my photographs and to ease colour choices in my scrapbooking. Since Sean and I are undertaking the painting over the Easter 4-day weekend, today we went to Bunnings to hopefully pick up some paint, but only ended up coming home with colour cards.

I had planned to have pure white but Mum and I rationalised that a tinted white would be a better choice.

After comparing way too many “white” choices, I finally chose a colour called Whisper White – quite nice. However, we did not come home with paint due to the lack of customer service we experienced at Bunnings. For close to an hour we compared cards, paint types all whilst never having an assistant comer over and ask if they were able to help. As a retail worker myself, I know how important customer service is. Well Bunnings you just lost my purchases today due to the lack of customer service, I did end up with a nice collection of differing white sample cards but that is all.

I will head out to the local paint store tomorrow to pick up some paint and have a real retail experience with people who are there to serve the customer.

People who always try to move guilt on to you or anyone who lies/is rude.

well I love my funky PJ shorts but my funky brown top is my fav for sure.

gosh, I want to go everywhere but for this let me say Morocco

My 19th was a good one, had heaps of fun but most memorable would be my sweet 16th – the day of 911, mentioning of my birth date always causes comments.

mmm I quite like to watch AFL or Union but hockey(field) is always going to have a spot in my heart.
